I'm not so sure that's accurate. Unless I'm missing something, Trotz said Wahlstrom will make his NHL debut today and the lines will be in a bit of a "blender". Unless he plans on rolling with 5D and 13F, I don't get the feeling that Johnston will be in the lineup over Wahlstrom

They said Wahlstom is playing... not sure on the rest.

I was hoping the Kid got his shot out there today. Thought he was?

I'll say one thing about Ross.. is he camps in front of the net and that is why Lee scored last game.

team needs to stop looking for the insane play. Simple game.. Screen the goalie and throw pucks at the net. Have Lee or Ross bang in the rebound.

I would flip Beau and Moose knuckle but I think Beau takes a back seat to Barzal when he’s on his line imho so I get it. He seems to carry the puck more and is more involved when his not with Barzal.

Trotz did say they were going to shuffle the lines quite a bit, but....still. Saddling Barzal and Lee with Kuhnhackl and sticking Wahlstrom with a center who's been nothing but dogpoop seems like a less than ideal way to start. I do like Bailey playing with Wahlstrom since Josh apparently has a phobia of shooting.

Well if they're not putting him on IR then they must think he'll be back inside of a week, so I imagine it's not a major concern. Just an inconvenience, but at least we'll get to see Wahlstrom.

Looks that way, yeah. Varly played against FLA so it would make sense.

Moose knuckles does get in on the forecheck effectively so I could see him adding that to the line. Not bad in the corners either. Bailey could look to set up Olli on their line.
Should see OW on the PP I would think.

I have this inkling that he sticks. All he really has to do is outplay MDC I should think.
